VK launch competition to develop App

Today VK launched a competition to develop applications for instant messaging for the iPhone based on the existing API VKontakte social network. This was reported in a group of developers VKontakte.

The prize fund is five million rubles (around 169000,00 USD). The amount will be distributed among the best applications published in the App Store. Applications for participation in the competition are accepted from tomorrow to April 20 inclusive (21.00).

Before the end, of the reception of works application must be sent to the App Store as a free application to all the participants were able to assess each other’s work. The application should be easy for use, even for users not familiar with VKontakte (VK.com). Rights will be reserved to the application developer.

Your task is to

App should be in the language Objective C using the API to implement VKontakte application to the extent described in the job. An additional requirement for the job is the presence of Russian and English versions of the interface. The application must be compatible with all iOS-devices with firmware version 4.0 and above.

For ease of development, VK has prepared all the necessary API methods.

The competition involved the inhabitants of any country, not just Russia.
